Privacy Policy

Last updated: 22 August 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how SEO LAB collects and uses personal data when you visit this website, submit an enquiry or use the website consultation assistant.

1. Data controller

SEO LAB is the controller of the personal data described in this policy. SEO LAB operates from Marbella, Spain. You can contact us about privacy at hello@marbellaseolab.com.

Information required before production: the legal or trading owner must add its full registered name, tax identification number and registered business address here.

2. Information we collect

When you use the contact form, we may collect your name, email address, company website, service interests, objectives, priorities, approximate budget, target market, timing, referral source and any information you include in your message.

When you use the consultation assistant, we process the messages you enter, the business information developed during the conversation and, if you choose to request contact, your name, email address, telephone number, website, preferred contact method and consent. Please do not submit passwords, payment details, identification documents, health information or other sensitive data.

Our server may also process limited technical information such as IP address, browser information, requested URL and security events. The assistant uses a one-way security identifier derived from IP and browser information to enforce short-term rate limits.

3. Why we use your data

  • To answer enquiries and arrange an evaluation or proposal.
  • To provide the consultation assistant and prepare the requested specialist follow-up.
  • To take steps requested before entering into a service agreement and to manage an existing client relationship.
  • To protect the website, prevent abuse and diagnose technical problems.
  • To comply with legal, accounting and regulatory obligations.

Depending on the context, processing is based on your request for pre-contractual steps, performance of a contract, your consent, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the website, or a legal obligation. We do not use enquiry data for unrelated marketing without an appropriate legal basis.

4. Consultation assistant and external processing

Messages submitted to the consultation assistant are sent through our server to an external AI service provider so that a response can be generated. The request is configured not to be stored by that service through the API, but the provider may process limited data for security and abuse prevention under its applicable terms. Do not enter confidential or sensitive information. Assistant responses are general business information and are reviewed by a person before any paid engagement is agreed.

5. Recipients and international transfers

Data may be handled by suppliers that provide website hosting, email delivery, security, form processing and the consultation assistant. They may act as processors under contractual obligations. Some suppliers may process data outside the European Economic Area; where required, transfers should rely on an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

6. Retention

Ordinary enquiries and consultation records are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a shorter period is appropriate or the information becomes part of a client relationship. Contract, invoice and transaction records may be retained for the periods required by law. Short-term assistant rate-limit records expire automatically. Data may be retained longer where necessary for a legal claim or regulatory obligation.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

The public website currently uses only technologies necessary for operation, security, language selection and form functionality. WordPress may set additional administrative cookies when an authorised user signs in. We do not currently deploy advertising or behavioural analytics cookies on public pages. If non-essential analytics or advertising technologies are introduced, this policy and the consent mechanism must be updated before they are activated.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of your personal data, object to certain processing, or withdraw consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. Contact hello@marbellaseolab.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency, the AEPD, or another competent supervisory authority.

9. Security, children and changes

We use reasonable organisational and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. This business website is not directed to children, and children should not submit personal data through its forms or assistant. We may update this policy when the website, suppliers or legal requirements change; the date above identifies the current version.

10. Contact

Privacy questions and requests can be sent to hello@marbellaseolab.com or through our contact page.
